Tandem Flights

Who can fly tandem? - Paragliding is not a difficult sport physically, we simply require that you be able to run up to twenty to thirty feet. We have flown with little children,  elderly persons, and persons with special mental and physical disabilities. Just about everyone that tries this amazing sport will say it is the experience of a lifetime.

What to expect - First, we will meet with you at the glider landing zone on Issaquah Hobart road. We will then take the Tiger Mountain shuttle to get up to the launch area. Friends or family can take the shuttle up to the launch area with you for an additional fee.  You can also hike to launch, either way, it takes about 45 minutes. We will give you a thorough pre-flight briefing, explaining what to expect when launching, in-flight, and when landing. We will explain our equipment, how it works, and how it makes this sport so safe. We will also describe how we use the terrain and rising thermal air to stay up as long as possible. You will experience amazing views of the Cascade mountains to the east, Mount Rainier to the South, the Seattle skyline, Puget Sound, and the Olympic mountains to the West, and on clear days, Mount Baker to the North. We may even hand over the controls so you can get an idea how a paraglider handles. Be sure to bring warm clothes, gloves, and a camera. We will provide everything else.

As with any weather dependent sport, we cannot guarantee that we will always get in the air. Conditions change quickly. If we do not feel the conditions are right for a safe and enjoyable flight, we will not launch. If we do not launch, we will postpone your flying opportunity to another time.
